Titan Airways, il vettore VIP charter basato all’aeroporto londinese di Stansted, ha aggiunto un Boeing 767-300 Extended Range alla propria flotta. E’ il primo wide-body della Titan, configurato per 265 passeggeri con seggiolini in file da 2/3/2.
Registrato G-POWD, il 767 è arrivato da Taipei a dicembre, per iniziare un periodo di noleggio di otto anni da parte della GECAS. L’aereo è dipinto nella suggestiva colorazione della Titan Airways, mentre l’interno è su toni di grigio, con poltrone in pelle dotate di schermi, con controllo individuale, per intrattenimento a bordo con vari canali video e musicali. L’aereo ha solo sei anni di vita ed ha una cabina in stile B.777, dando l’impressione di maggiore spaziosità.
Dal giorno dopo il suo arrivo, il B.767 ha cominciato a volare tra Belfast e Malaga per conto dell’Aer Lingus e tra Dublino ed Arrecife (Lanzarote, Canarie), nel periodo natalizio. Da fine anno, l’aereo opera voli per Recife (Brasile), oltre a vari altri scali in Medio Oriente ed Africa.

Titan Airways, the London Stansted-based VIP charter specialist, has expanded its fleet with the introduction of a Boeing 767-300 Extended Range. The new aircraft is Titan’s first wide-bodied aircraft configured with 265 seats in a 2/3/2 layout.
Registered G-POWD, the 767 arrived from Taipei in December on an eight year lease from GECAS. The aircraft is complete in the Titan Airways’ colour scheme with the interior finished in Titan’s signature two tone pale and charcoal grey leather and each seat boasting its own IFE screen and controller, giving a selection of visual and music channels. The aircraft is just six years old and has the latest Boeing 777 enhanced interior, making the cabin appear lighter, brighter and more spacious.
Within a day of its arrival the B.767 operated between Belfast and Malaga on behalf of Aer Lingus and again between Dublin and Arrecife (Lanzarote, Canarias) over the Christmas period. Since Christmas, the aircraft has operated to Recife in Brazil and to the Middle East and a variety of destinations throughout Africa.
