L’ultimo arrivato nella flotta dell’Air Algerie, un B.737-800 con winglets, è decollato ieri dal Boeing Field di Seattle verso la sua base operativa sull’aeroporto “Houari Boumedienne International” di Algeri.
Air Algerie dispone ora di tredici B.737 Next-Generation (cinque serie 600 ed otto 800), una delle maggiori flotte di questo tipo di aerei nell’Africa del Nord. Il vettore riceverà altri due esemplari della versione più capiente B.737-800 nell’agosto del 2006. Air Algerie offre un’articolata rete di collegamenti sulle direttrici nord e sud, rispettivamente verso l’Europa e l’Africa occidentale, e su quella verso est con scali nel Medio Oriente, in Turchia e nei paesi del Golfo.

Air Algerie's latest fleet addition, a B.737-800 with winglets, departed Boeing Field in Seattle yesterday for its home base at Houari Boumedienne International Airport in Algiers.
Air Algerie now flies thirteen Next-Generation 737s, making it one of the largest operators of that model type in North Africa. Currently its fleet includes five B.737-600s and eight B.737-800s. The carrier will add another two B.737-800s in August of 2006. Air Algerie offers extensive connectivity both north and south to Europe and West Africa, as well as east to west to the Middle East, Turkey and the Gulf Region.
