China Aviation Supplies Import & Export Group Corporation (CASGC) ed Airbus hanno siglato un accordo per l'acquisto di 20 esemplari del bireattore A 330-300. E' stato concordato che gli aerei saranno consegnati a partire dall'inizio del 2006. Per questi aerei, destinati al mercato cinese, non è ancora stato scelto il tipo di motore. L'accordo è stato firmato nel corso di una cerimonia alla quale hanno preso parte il Vice Presidente cinese Zeng Peiyan ed il Primo Ministro francese Jean-Pierre Raffarin.
L'A 330-300, entrato in servizio all'inizio del 1994, trasporta normalmente 335 passeggeri in due classi oppure 295 in tre, su tratte fino a 5.600 miglia nautiche pari a 10.400 chilometri.

The China Aviation Supplies Import & Export Group Corporation (CASGC) and Airbus signed an agreement for the purchase of 20 A 330-300 aircraft. The aircraft are scheduled for delivery from the first quarter of 2006. Selection of the engines for the aircraft destined to the Chinese market has yet to be decided. The agreement was signed in a ceremony attended by Chinese Vice Premier Zeng Peiyan and French Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin.
The A 330-300, which first entered service in early 1994, typically seats 335 passengers in two classes or 295 passengers in three classes and can fly up to 5,600 nm/10,400 km.
