La European Aviation and Safety Agency (EASA) e la Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) americana hanno dato la loro approvazione formale alla prova di evacuazione dall’A 380, svoltasi con successo il 26 marzo presso il sito Airbus di Amburgo in Germania. Nel corso del test, tutti gli 853 passeggeri ed i 20 membri dell’equipaggio hanno lasciato l’aereo in appena 78 secondi. I due enti hanno anche definito in 853 il numero massimo di posti a sedere per l’A 380-800. (Da un comunicato stampa Airbus, Tolosa (Francia) – 29 marzo 2006)	The European Aviation and Safety Agency (EASA) and the American Federal Aviation Administration, FAA gave their “seal of approval” to the successful A 380 evacuation trial performed at Airbus’ site in Hamburg, Germany, on Sunday, 26th March, during which 853 passengers and 20 crew members left the aircraft within 78 seconds.
