Agusta, società dal gruppo AgustaWestland, e la Jiangxi Changhe Aviation Industries Company, una delle aziende aeronautiche controllate da AviChina, hanno siglato, durante il recente salone aeronautico di Zhuhai, oggi un accordo di collaborazione per la produzione, commercializzazione e supporto post-vendita dell’elicottero A 109E Power.
L’accordo tra la JCAIC, rappresentata dal suo Presidente Hu Hau Yin, e l’Agusta, nella persona del CEO AgustaWestland Amedeo Caporaletti, è finalizzato a cogliere le ottime prospettive, sul mercato cinese, per gli elicotteri leggeri da impiegare in compiti sanitari e di polizia.
La joint venture tra Agusta e JCAIC è un altro passo avanti nell’ambito della collaborazione Italia-Cina in campo elicotteristico dopo che, nel marzo 1999, l’Agusta si era aggiudicata un contratto dalla CATIC/AVIC II per progettare e sviluppare congiuntamente il sistema di trasmissione del nuovo elicottero medio cinese da sei tonnellate.

Agusta, an AgustaWestland company, and Jiangxi Changhe Aviation Industries Company, an AviChina company, have today signed a joint venture agreement for production, marketing and local support of the A 109E Power helicopter.
The agreement signed during the Zhuhai Air show, between JCAIC, represented by its President, Mr. Hu Hau Yin, and Agusta, represented by Mr. Amedeo Caporaletti, AgustaWestland CEO, allows the joint venture to fulfil the growing Chinese light twin civil, law enforcement and emergency medical service helicopter market.
The joint venture between Agusta and JCAIC is a further cornerstone in a well-established collaboration started on March 1999 when Agusta had been awarded a contract by CATIC/AVIC II to design and develop the transmission for a new medium 6-ton Chinese helicopter together.
