Alpi Eagles is Growing

Alpi Eagles was formed in 1979 as an aerobatic team and later expanded in the executive transport market. In May 1996, it started regular passenger services from its hub in Venice, using a fleet of 85 seats Fokker 100s, previously operated by Swissair, on various domestic (Venice, Verona, Rome, Cagliari, Lampedusa, Catania) and international routes (Tarbes in France and Arad in Rumania).
In November 1996, an operative/commercial agreement was signed with Alitalia, comprising the possible hand over of the Avianova's Fokker 70s to Alpi Eagles, a fact that eventually didn't materialized.
By April 1997, the number of the Fokker 100s operated by Alpi Eagles has grown to six.
