Ariana is back on the Marco Polo Route

After about 20 years, Ariana Afghan Airlines started again regular air services to Europe. At the moment the Marco Polo route, as it was called, is limited to the Kabul-Istambul-Frankfurt flight, operated by a single Airbus A 300B4 donated by Air India. Two more aircraft of the same type will follow soon, enabling Ariana to add destinations such as Amsterdam, Paris, London and possibly Rome.
Ariana opened recently domestic services to Herat e Mazar-eh-Sharif, and international flights to United Arab Emirates, India, Pakistan and Iran. New routes to Los Angeles and New York will be inaugurated as soon as long range jetliners will be available.
