Artic Group started helicopter operations

The helicopter division of Ukrainian airline Artic Group, based in Kiev, started flight operations in January 2003 with a fleet formed by three pre-owned Kamov Ka-32Ts. Each helicopter has about 1,000 flight hours before the next overhaul.
The coaxial rotor Ka-32 is able to carry, as a crane, up to 5,000 kg of large-size cargo in an external sling. The helicopter is also well suited for assembly operations, servicing drilling platforms on the shelves, rescue operations, aerial photography, survey, logging and firefighting activity. The Ka-32 contra-rotating rotor layout makes it fully safe while maneuvering close to obstacles, even under turbulent atmospheric conditions.
Many examples of Kamov Ka-32s are successfully operated in countries such as Canada, Switzerland, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, Iran, Middle East, Malaysia, Myanmar, South Korea, Indonesia. The Aviation Authorities of Canada and Switzerland issued their own Type Certificate for the helicopter. Artic Group is offering their helicopters to partners worldwide, to exploit demanding aerial work operations. The company employs fully rated pilots and skilled technicians allowing complete wet lease arrangements.
