Augsburg Airways Increases its Dash 8 Fleet
The German third-level carrier Augsburg Airways is going to be the largest European operator of the Canadian built Bombardier Canadair DHC-8 regional airliner.Under a Team Lufthansa franchising agreement, Augsburg Airways operates several domestic services and some international flights to destinations in Croatia, Italy and Great Britain, using a fleet of more than a dozen 37-seat Dash 8 Series 100/200s and 50-seat Series 300s.
Three Dash 8 Series Q300s are on order and negotiations are under way to purchase five 70-seat stretched variant Series Q400s.
