Il VIH Aviation Group – fondata nel 1955 e con sede a North Saanich, British Columbia - ha preso in consegna, a Vergiate, un elicottero medio AgustaWestland AW 139. Questa macchina, configurata per il trasporto di 12 persone, sarà operata dalla Cougar Helicopters Inc, società con base ad Halifax (Nuova Scozia, Canada), membro della VIH Aviation Group e sussidiaria della Cougar Aviation Ltd, specializzata nell'attività off-shore. La società dispone di due basi per supportare le piattaforme estrattive di petrolio e gas al largo delle coste del Newfoundland e della Nova Scotia.
Ad oggi, più di 120 clienti di quasi 50 paesi diversi hanno ordinato oltre 440 biturbina AW 139.

VIH Aviation Group – established in 1955 and based in North Saanich, British Columbia - has taken delivery of an AgustaWestland AW 139 medium twin helicopter at the Vergiate plant (Italy). This 12 seat-configured helicopter will be operated Cougar Helicopters Inc, an Halifax-based (Nova Scotia, Canada) member of VIH Aviation Group and a subsidiary of Cougar Aviation Ltd, for off-shore transport missions. The company has two permanent facilities supporting the oil and gas fields off the coasts of Newfoundland and Nova Scotia.
More than 440 AW 139 helicopters have been ordered so far by over 120 customers in almost 50 countries.
