Intermountain Healthcare ordina tre elicotteri Grand New
La statunitense Intermountain Healthcare ha firmato un contratto d'acquisto per tre AW 109SP Grand New, con opzioni per altri due esemplari. Operati dalla Intermountain Life Flight, la divisione aeronautica della Intermountain Healthcare, questi mezzi si affiancheranno a due A 109K2 impiegati già da anni per le emergenze sanitarie nello stato dello Utah e nel Nevada settentrionale.
I due Grand New saranno equipaggiati con una completa e moderna suite aeromedica, una o due barelle, verricello, lame anti-cavo, sci da neve e capacità NVG (Night Vision Goggles). I due velivoli saranno allestiti e consegnati tramite lo stabilimento AgustaWestland di Filadelfia (Pennsylvania).

HeliClub è il primo cliente russo per l'AW 139
La russa HeliClub ha ordinato un esemplare del bimotore medio AW 139, diventando il primo cliente russo per questo tipo di elicottero. Il mezzo, che si aggiunge ad un Grand ordinato in precedenza dalla società, sarà utilizzato per trasporto passeggeri.
HeliClub è un operatore in forte crescita che si occupa di voli passeggeri a domanda, addestramento piloti e commercializzazione di mezzi ad ala rotante. L'acquisto dell'AW 139 è stato finanziato dalla VTB-Leasing.
Una linea di assemblaggio finale dell’elicottero civile AW 139 è in fase di allestimento in Russia, ad opera dell’HeliVert, un’iniziativa congiunta tra l’AgustaWestland e la locale Russian Helicopters. Essa ha lo scopo principale di soddisfare le esigenze del mercato interno russo e dei paesi CIS. Eventualmente – tramite la rete commerciale AgustaWestland – gli AW 139 assemblati in Russia potranno essere esportati in altre nazioni.

Intermountain Healthcare Orders Three Grand New Helicopters
Intermountain Healthcare of USA has signed for three AW 109SP Grand New helicopters with options for two additional aircraft. Operated by Intermountain Life Flight, Intermountain Healthcare’s aviation division, these aircraft will join two A 109K2’s already in service performing critical medevac missions in Utah and Northern Nevada.
Each Grand New will be equipped with modern, comprehensive EMS interior featuring single or dual stretchers in addition to a rescue hoist, wire strike protection, snow skis and NVG compatibility. These aircraft will be completed and delivered at AgustaWestland’s Philadelphia, Pennsylvania production facility.

HeliClub Becomes The First Customer For The AW 139 In Russia
HeliClub of Russia has placed an order for one AW 139 medium twin helicopter becoming the first customer for the type in Russia. This aircraft, which adds to a Grand light twin helicopter already ordered by the company, will be used to perform corporate and passenger transport missions.
HeliClub is a leading company in the supply of helicopter pilot training services and the sale of helicopters in Russia. HeliClub offers high level on demand passenger transport services in the country. The deal for the AW 139 has been financed through VTB-Leasing.
A final assembly line in Russia for the AW 139 civil helicopter is to be set up and run by HeliVert, a Russian Helicopters and AgustaWestland joint-venture. The final assembly line is aimed at satisfying the requirements of the civil markets in Russia and CIS countries primarily and - through the AgustaWestland network - for the rest of the world.
