Last Eurocopter Canada BÖ 105LS's for DEA

The prototype of Bölkow BÖ 105 was flown in Germany on February 16th 1967, being the first twin-engined light utility helicopter equipped with a four-blade composite rigid main rotor. After a ten year development phase, the aircraft became a commercial success, particularly in the medevac category, thanks to its wide cabin accessible by clamshell rear doors.
The BÖ 105LS A-3 high-powered version is exclusively built by Eurocopter at Fort Erie (Ontario). The last available fuselages are destined to the US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) which recently placed an order for four aircraft and six more on option.
