All Eurofighter 2000 Prototypes are Flying
On January 24, 1997, Eurofighter 2000 DA 7 (MM X 603) made its first flight from the Turin-Caselle Alenia plants, being the second Italian built development aircraft of the international programme involving, from the industrial side, Alenia in Italy, British Aerospace in the United Kingdom, Casa in Spain and DASA in Germany.
The other Italian Eurofighter 2000 development aircraft, DA 3 (MM X 602), the first to be powered by Eurojet EJ 200 engines, made its maiden flight on June 4, 1995.
It is planned that DA 7 will perform a daily flight display at the next Paris air show.
On 14 March, the last EF2000 development aircraft, a two seater, made its first flight i Spain.
