Long-range Eurofly
Before the end of the current year, Italian charter airline Eurofly will start long-haul activity, using two Boeing 767-31Bs Extended Range leased from IFLC. The two aircraft, built in 1994, are back from a lease period to China Southern airline. They are part of a leasing agreement for five 767s signed between IFLC and Alitalia, 45% share-holder of Eurofly. The three remaining aircraft are destined to join the fleet of Alitalia Team.
At the moment, Eurofly operates a medium range fleet formed by four leased MD-83s and two owned DC-9-51s. The airline was established in Turin in 1989 but recently its premises were moved to Sesto San Giovanni (Milan area).
