The Servizio Aereo della Guardia di Finanza (Customs Police Air Service) has just celebrated the fortieth anniversary of its activity, the first unit having been established in Naples during 1957.
The Service used a fleet formed by Agusta Bell AB 47s helicopters, in various versions, until mid '70s, when Bredanardi NH-500s and Agusta A 109s were introduced.
