The Messe Friedrichshafen has lined up a new event in their program: The first International Market for Aircraft Sales (IMAS), subsidiary trade fair of the International Aviation Fair AERO, will be taking place on the exhibition grounds in Friedrichshafen from June 17 to 19, 2004. Friedrichshafen is ideal for aviation trade fairs: the new exhibition grounds are directly linked to the airport.
The AERO takes place every two years and is Europe's leading fair for general aviation, and already well-established in the Zeppelin-town. In 2003, 47,500 visitors attended the fair. The AERO's expert team now also has the subsidiary fair IMAS in their hand. The IMAS will be taking place in yearly rotation with the AERO.
The IMAS provides an ideal platform for the sales of used aircraft: everything from used Ultralights to single and twin-engined machines. From the adjoining airport, prospective buyers can easily take their object of interest on a trial flight. In addition there will be a market for accessories and used components. Here private sellers as well as professional representatives from avionics, maintenance and equipment, as well as banks and insurances, will be expected to attend. A supporting program with specialist lectures on central subjects such as used aircraft sales, financing and leasing will round out the program.
More information about the IMAS can be found on the internet at www.messe-friedrichshafen.de or by phone +49 75 41/708-361.
