Superjet International (SJI) ha firmato oggi, con l’aerolinea messicana Interjet, un contratto per la vendita di 15 Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ-100-95) a lungo raggio, in configurazione da 98 posti, più 5 opzioni. L’ordine ha un valore di 650 milioni di dollari e le prime consegne sono previste per la seconda metà del 2012.
Parallelamente, SJI ha annunciato un accordo “SuperCare” che garantirà all’Interjet l’assistenza post vendita, per i prossimi 10 anni, della nuova flotta di SSJ-100. L’accordo “SuperCare” prevede un programma completo “per ora volata” realizzato appositamente da SJI per gli operatori del SSJ-100.
Con quest’ultimo accordo, il Sukhoi Superjet 100 raggiunge un portafoglio di 170 ordini (vedi tabella). Il SSJ-100 è frutto della più importante partnership industriale esistente, nel settore dell’aviazione civile, tra la Federazione Russa e il resto del mondo.
Interjet è di proprietà della famiglia Miguel Aleman al 100%. Ha iniziato le operazioni nel dicembre del 2005, all’inizio della “deregulation” del trasporto aereo in Messico. In soli 5 anni, con una flotta di 22 velivoli, Interjet è attualmente la seconda linea aerea nel mercato nazionale. Interjet opera principalmente dagli aeroporti “Benito Juarez International” di Città del Messico (MEX) ed “Adolfo López Mateos International” (TLC) di Toluca, verso le più importanti destinazioni nazionali, sia per clientela business che turistica.
(NdR: il solido ordine da parte dell’Interjet ci permette anche di fare un quadro più preciso del portafoglio ordini per il nuovo bireattore regionale della Sukhoi. Negli ultimi anni, infatti, una serie di prematuri annunci “da salone” ed una certa discontinuità nella comunicazione con la stampa, avevano via via “gonfiato” l’elenco dei clienti Superjet e degli esemplari venduti ed opzionati. Di rilievo, tra l’altro, la recente scomparsa dall’elenco dell’ordine per dieci esemplari da parte dell’ItAli Airlines, annunciato nel 2007.)

Superjet International (SJI) - a joint-venture between Alenia Aeronautica and Sukhoi Holding - signed a contract today with Mexico’s Interjet airline for the sale of 15 long range Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ-100-95) aircraft in the 98-seat configuration, plus 5 options. Based on the list price, the value of the order is USD 650 million. The first deliveries are scheduled in the second half of 2012.
Along with the order, SJI announced the execution of a “SuperCare” Agreement with Interjet to provide after-sales support of its fleet of new Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft for 10 years. The “SuperCare” agreement is a comprehensive “per-flight-hour” program developed by SJI specifically for SSJ-100 aircraft operators.
With this new sale, the Sukhoi Superjet 100 has totalled 170 firm orders (see table). The SSJ-100 program represents the most important industrial partnership, in the civil aviation sector, between the Russian Federation and the rest of the world.
Interjet is a Mexican airline 100% owned by the Miguel Aleman family. It was the first entrant in the new deregulated era of Mexican airline industry, starting operations in December 2005. In only 5 years of operations with a fleet of 22 aircraft, Interjet today is the 2nd airline in the Mexican domestic market. It mainly operates from Mexico City’s “Benito Juarez International” (MEX) and Toluca’s “Adolfo López Mateos International” (TLC) airports to the most important business and leisure destinations in Mexico.
(Editor’s Note: the substantial order by Interjet allows to draw a revised and official order book of the Sukhoi regional airliner. In fact, in the past years, a number of “air show” announcements and a somewhat “intermittent” press communication, generated a superabundant list of the Superjet customers. In particular, the ItAli Airlines order for ten aircraft, announced in 2007, has been recently deleted.)
