Nuove rotte low-cost di Jet2.com tra Regno Unito e Italia

Jet2.com, una delle maggiori compagnie low-cost del Regno Unito, ha annunciato l’apertura, nei primi mesi del 2006, di nuove rotte che avvicinano l’Italia al Nord della Gran Bretagna: Orio al Serio-Leeds Bradford, quattro volte la settimana a partire dal 7 aprile, Pisa-Belfast ogni sabato dal 25 maggio, Pisa-Edimburgo ogni sabato dal 27 maggio ed infine Venezia-Leeds Bradford, quattro volte la settimana dal 7 aprile.
Questi servizi si aggiungono alle rotte che già collegano Roma/Fiumicino a Leeds Bradford ed a Manchester, oltre a quelle che uniscono Pisa a Leeds Bradford, Manchester e Newcastle. L’aeroporto di Pisa diventerà così il principale scalo italiano della Jet2.com.

La Jet2.com ha iniziato le proprie operazioni nel febbraio del 2003 ed oggi dispone di sei basi operative dislocate sugli aeroporti di Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Belfast, Newcastle, Edimburgo e Blackpool.
Il vettore low-cost britannico ha già trasportato più di 2 milioni di passeggeri su una rete di servizi che attualmente comprende 30 destinazioni in tutta Europa. A differenza di altre compagnie “a tariffe ridotte”, Jet2.com effettua l’assegnazione del posto al momento del check-in ed accetta prenotazioni per gruppi. Jet2.com, one of the major UK low-cost carriers, announced the opening (from 2006) of new services linking Northern Great Britain and Italy: Orio al Serio-Leeds Bradford, four days a week from April 7, Pisa-Belfast every Saturday from May 25, Pisa-Edinburgh every Saturday from May 27 and Venice-Leeds Bradford, four days a week from April 7.
The above services are a significant addition to the current flights from Rome/Fiumicino to Leeds Bradford and Manchester, and from Pisa to Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle. Pisa will become the main Italian destination for Jet2.com.
