Panavia Tornado IDS IS084 36-50 (C.M.X.-7085) che, nell’ottobre 2007, ha concluso a Decimomannu la prima fase di integrazione del pod da ricognizione visuale/infrarosso Rafael Reccelite. Il nuovo sistema ognitempo, che sostituirà l’Orpheus finora utilizzato dall’AMI, è in grado di registrare le immagini nel pod e di trasmetterle in tempo reale ad una stazione di terra. (Aeromedia)
Panavia Tornado IDS IS084 (C.M.X.-7085) of the Italian Air Force. In October 2007, this aircraft was used, at Decimomannu Air Base, for the initial integration of the Rafael Reccelite IR-visual recce pod. The new day/night system, destined to replace the Orpheus pod now in service with IAF, is able to record and transfer images, in real time, to a ground station. (Aeromedia)
