(Aeromedia)
Boeing B.737-36N OO-VEN operated by Brussels Airlines Fly taxies at Geneva/Cointrin airport in May, 2007. It is one of the B.737 jetliners of former Virgin Express, a low-cost airline just bought by SN Airholding, the parent company of SN Brussels Airlines. The two resulting airlines, although with fully integrated operations, were renamed Brussels Airlines and Brussels Airlines Fly. Virgin Express was set up in 1996 after the incorporation of EuroBelgian Airlines (EBA), an early low-cost airline established in 1991. Both EBA and Virgin Express failed to expand their business, squeezed between easyJet and Ryanair. (Aeromedia)
