Questo esemplare, Questo esemplare - Westland modello 30-100-60 n/c 017 – era propulso da due turboalberi Rolls-Royce Gem Mk.531, e fu uno degli ultimi a lasciare la linea di montaggio. In tutto, tra il 1977 ed il 1984 – furono costruiti 19 Westland 30. Questo tipo di elicottero si aggiudicò anche il record mondiale di velocità, anche grazie a nuove soluzioni aerodinamiche del rotore, trasferite più tardi sull’EH 101. (Aeromedia)

This aircraft - a Westland 30-100-60 model c/n 017 - was powered by two Rolls-Royce Gem Mk.531 turboshafts, and was one of the last to leave the production line. 19 Westland 30 were manufactured between 1977-1984. This type of helicopter was also a world speed record breaker, thanks to its advanced rotor aerodynamics, later inherited by the EH 101. (Aeromedia)
