ABC Lightship A-60 Plus G-HLEL "Spirit of Safety II" (n/c 010), operato dalla britannica Lightship Europe Ltd, in atterraggio al campo di Torino/Aeritalia durante il "Goodyear Safety Together Tour" effettuato nel maggio 2011. Questo dirigibile, costuito nel 1995 dalla American Blimp Corporation di Hillsboro, Oregon (USA), è propulso da due motori a quattro cilindri Limbach L 2000 da 60 kW (80 hp), con eliche bipala MT-Propeller MT 150 RD80-1A. L'involucro può essere illuminato dall'interno per pubblicizzare il marchio anche di notte. La navicella ospita un massimo di tre passeggeri, oltre ai due membri dell'equipaggio. "Spirit of Safety II" (12.942 ore di volo al 31 dicembre 2011) ha mantenuto le marche originali USA N610LG fino al 31 marzo 2011, quando la sua identità è passata al Registro Aereo del Regno Unito. ABC Lightship A-60 Plus G-HLEL "Spirit of Safety II" (c/n 010) operated by Lightship Europe Ltd of UK lands at Turin/Aeritalia airport during its Italian "Goodyear Safety Together Tour" effected in May, 2011. This blimp, manufactured in 1995 by American Blimp Corporation of Hillsboro, Oregon (USA), is powered by two 60 kW (80 HP) Limbach L 2000 four cylinder, horizontally opposed air cooled engines each driving MT-Propeller MT 150 RD80-1A two-blade propellers. The gondola has accomodation for two pilots and three passengers. "Spirit of Safety II", which totalled 12,924 flight hours at 31/12/2010, has retained original US marks N610LG till March 2011, when its identity was transferred to the UK Air Register. (Aeromedia)
