Blackshape Prime I-B501, terzo esemplare di serie, in mostra al salone Cannes Air Show, il 6 giugno 2013. La società Blackshape, creata di recente a Monopoli, in Puglia, ha derivato il Prime dal progetto Millenium Master. Le modifiche hanno compreso due “safety review” incentrate sull’attacco ala/fusoliera e sulla riprogettazione del blocco longherone. Ultraleggero biposto ad ala bassa e carrello triciclo, con ala e fusoliera in fibra di carbonio, il Prime può operare anche da piste erbose. Il gruppo motopropulsore può essere costituito da un Rotax 912 ULS oppure 914 F con elica bipala MT Propeller MTV-1A. (Aeromedia)
Blackshape Prime I-B501, third series production aircraft, in static display at Cannes Air Show, on 6 June 2013. The recently established Blackshape, based at Monopoli (Apulia), Italy, derived the Prime from the Millenium Master project. Modifications included two safety reviews in the wing/fuselage junction area and the redesign of the spar block. The Prime is a low wing, trycicle retractable landing gear UL two-seater with carbon fiber airframe and wing structures. It has uninproved runway capability. Rotax 912 ULS or 914 F engines drive two-blade MT Propeller MTV-1A propeller. (Aeromedia)
