Piaggio P.180 Avanti I-CFPA / CFS-181 (n/c 1094 del 2004) del Corpo Forestale dello Stato in atterraggio a Torino/Caselle il 10 febbraio 2006. Dal 1 gennaio 2017, su inatteso decreto del governo allora in carica, personale, strutture e mezzi del Corpo Forestale dello Stato (organismo dipendente dal Ministero dell’Agricoltura) furono assorbiti dall’Arma dei Carabinieri dando vita al Comando unità forestali, ambientali e agroalimentari (Carabinieri Forestali). L’intento dichiarato era quello di ridurre i costi. L’aereo illustrato mantenne la stessa Matricola Militare ma assunse il nuovo codice CC-1515. Il prefisso CC si riferisce tuttora al periodo prima del 1917 quando l’Arma dei Carabinieri era definita un Corpo. Anche gli Agusta/Bell AB 412 e gli AgustaWestland A 109N Nexus del Corpo Forestale dovettero cambiare identità. (Aeromedia)

Piaggio P.180 Avanti I-CFPA / CFS-181 (c/n 1094 built in 2004) of the Corpo Forestale dello Stato (State Forestry Corps) landing at Turin/Caselle on February 10, 2006. From January 1, 2017, following an unexpected decree by the government at the time, the personnel, facilities and equipment of the State Forestry Corps (an agency dependent on the Ministry of Agriculture) were absorbed by the Carabinieri, creating the Forestry, Environmental and Agri-food Unit (Carabinieri Forestali). The stated aim was to reduce costs. The aircraft illustrated retained the same military registration (Matricola Militare) number but adopted the new code CC-1515. The CC prefix still refers to the period before 1917 when the Carabinieri were defined as a fully fledged Corps. The Agusta/Bell AB 412s and AgustaWestland A 109N Nexus of the Forestry Corps also had to change their identity. (Aeromedia)
