Orličan L-40 Meta Sokol I-CERD (n/c 150401 del 1960), già di proprietà della società ATA Cerrina in sosta a Torino/Aeritalia l’11 febbraio 1973. Qualche tempo dopo fu bruciato dietro agli hangar. All’epoca i soci dell’Air Spotter Association criticarono il misfatto dato che l’aereo poteva essere ormai considerato un raro velivolo storico anche perché proveniente da Oltre Cortina. (Aeromedia)

Orličan L-40 Meta Sokol I-CERD (n/c 150401, built in 1960), formerly owned by ATA Cerrina company, parked at Turin/Aeritalia Airport on February 11, 1973. Sometime later it was burned behind the hangars. At the time, the members of the Air Spotter Association criticized the misdeed, as the aircraft could be considered a rare historical aircraft, especially since it came from beyond the Iron Curtain.
