Minerva Airlines Expansion

Italian domestic third level carrier Minerva Airlines, founded in October 1993 at Catanzaro by the Mancuso Group, started flight activity in 1996 and it is now operating a fleet of five 32 seat Dornier 328-100s; two more will be added by the end of the year.
Following a commercial agreement with Alitalia, Minerva Airlines has begun the development of an extensive domestic network now comprising Alghero, Bari, Bologna, Catania, Firenze, Milano, Napoli, Torino and Trieste.
From 28 April 1997, a direct Lamezia Terme to Bologna service was activated, offering a special no-charge fare for disabled people destined to specialized hospitals in the Bologna area, thanks to the collaboration of the Catanzaro Red Cross organization.
Minerva Airlines fleet comprises Dornier 328-100s D-CPRP, D-CPRR, D-CPRS, D-CPRT and D-CAOS.
