Embraer ha iniziato le consegne del suo jet d’affari Phenom 300, certficato di recente, ad appena un anno dall’entrata in servizio del modello più piccolo Phenom 100. Il primo Phenom 300 è stato consegnato a São José dos Campos, il 29 dicembre 2009, alla Executive Flight Services, la sussidiaria “operativa” della Executive AirShare, che lo ha ritirato per conto di un cliente non precisato.
Nel dicembre scorso, in attesa dell’entrata in servizio dell’aereo, la Embraer CAE Training Services (ECTS), con base a Dallas (Texas), ha qualificato quattro piloti per il Phenom 300. Grazie alla comunanza tra i diversi modelli del Phenom, ai piloti già abilitati al Phenom 100 è stato sufficiente un corso “di transizione” al Phenom 300.
Executive AirShare, fondata nel 2001, opera una flotta di jet e turboelica di ultima generazione per conto di proprietari residenti nella zona centrale degli Stati Uniti. Essendo una delle maggiori società di multiproprietà aerea, essa offre - a società e privati - la piena disponibilità di un velivolo senza le spese e le complicazioni di una gestione diretta dell’aereo. La socieà statunitense è basata a Kansas City (Missouri) con altre sedi a Wichita (Kansas), Tulsa ed Oklahoma City (Oklahoma) e Dallas/Fort Worth (Texas). Al momento, Executive AirShare è l’unico operatore di aerei “fractional ownership” ad utilizzare sia il Phenom 100 che il Phenom 300. Fornisce anche la gestione operativa di velivoli e servizi di noleggio tramite la sussidiaria Executive Flight Services.
Il Phenom 300, aereo della categoria “light jet”, trasporta fino a 10 passeggeri in una spaziosa cabina progettata con la collaborazione del BMW Group DesignworksUSA. Dotato di ala a freccia con “winglets”, è uno dei più veloci aerei della stessa classe, con una velocità di punta di 453 nodi (839 km/h KTAS), e può volare ad una quota massima di 45.000 piedi (13.716 metri). Il raggio d’azione massimo di 1.971 miglia nautiche (3.650 km), compresa la riserva di carburante NBAA IFR, permette tratte non-stop come da New York a Dallas, da Londra ad Atene e da Nuova Delhi a Dubai.

Embraer has begun delivering its recently certified Phenom 300 executive jet, just one year after the first Phenom 100 customers received their aircraft. The first Phenom 300 was delivered at the Company’s headquarters, on December 29, 2009, to Executive Flight Services, a wholly owned aircraft management subsidiary of Executive AirShare, which received the aircraft on behalf of an undisclosed customer.
In preparation for entering service, Embraer CAE Training Services (ECTS), based in Dallas, Texas, successfully qualified four Phenom 300 customer pilots, in December 2009, to operate the new Embraer Phenom 300 jet. Due to the level of commonality between the Phenom aircraft models, and because all pilots had previously obtained their Phenom 100 type ratings, only a transition course for the Phenom 300 was required.
Executive AirShare, founded in 2001, operates a fleet of late model jet and turboprop aircraft serving owners throughout the Central United States. As one of the nation’s largest regional fractional aircraft ownership companies, it offers businesses and individuals the benefits of corporate aircraft, without the expense and hassle of managing their own flight operations. The U.S. company is based in Kansas City, Missouri, and also operates out of Wichita, Kansas; Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas. The aircraft has swept wings with winglets and is one of the fastest aircraft in the light jet category, reaching 453 knots (839 km/h, or 521 mph – KTAS), and it can fly at an altitude of up to 45,000 feet (13,716 meters). Its range of 1,971 nautical miles (3,650 km), including NBAA IFR fuel reserves, means the aircraft is capable of flying non-stop from New York to Dallas, from London to Athens or from New Delhi to Dubai.
