A seguito dell'accordo con la Abacus Publishing, siglato il 26 dicembre, la PC Aviator Inc. ha comperato la rivista specializzata Flight Simulator World Magazine, precedentemente nota come Full Throttle.
Arnie Lee, presidente della Abacus Publishing, ha sottolineato che lo staff editoriale di Flight Simulator World Magazine produce una pubblicazione di ottima qualità. Tuttavia la società ha deciso, in questa fase, di concentrarsi sull'espansione dei propri prodotti di software.
La PC Aviator Inc., già presente nel settore delle riviste di simulazione con Computer Pilot Magazine, è attualmente in grado di espandere la propria presenza sul mercato con un'altra pubblicazione di prestigio. Flight Simulator World manterrà lo stesso corpo redazionale, guidato da Tim Dickens, e non vi saranno particolari cambiamenti rispetto agli attuali contenuti.

In an agreement between Abacus Publishing and PC Aviator Inc., PC Aviator Inc. has, effective as of December 26, 2001, purchased full ownership of Flight Simulator World Magazine (formerly Full Throttle).
In a press release also issued today by Abacus Publishing, President Arnie Lee stated that his editorial team has built a first class magazine with Flight Simulator World, however due to the expansion of Abacus' software product range he wanted the company to focus on software publishing at this time in its corporate life.
PC Aviator Inc. having gained a strong foothold in the niche flight simulator magazine marketplace, with Computer Pilot Magazine, has the resources already in place to add another flight simulator related magazine to its print publication product line. Flight Simulator World will maintain the same editorial team, headed by its editor Tim Dickens, as well as the same scope of comprehensive content the magazine currently showcases.
PC Aviator anticipates that the transition will be transparent to readers and current subscribers who will be personally notified by mail of the change in ownership. The first issue of Flight Simulator World published under the PC Aviator name will be available in February 2002.
