On January 2, 2026, the HOAC HK 36R Super Dimona D-KBDF (c/n 36397, 1994) motor glider arrived at Turin/Aeritalia Airport. It is intended to replace the Aero Club Torino's GROB G 109B I-KEOG, which had been on sale for a few months and left Turin Airport the following week. The Austrian company HOAG AG built the Hoffmann Katana and Dimona motor gliders from 1991 to 1998, after which production was transferred to Diamond Aircraft Industries GmbH.
