Helicopters at Sestriere

In occasion of the Alpine World Ski Championships at Sestriere, from 2 to 12 February 1997, the local heliport was very busy. Moreover the heli-ski aircraft of the locally based Hiliwest, Gazelle I-OLLY, Ecureuil I-LASP, I-LASD and Lama I-MAEL (Elilario colours), the following helicopters were noted:
AB 412SP I-AGUI and A 109K2 I-AGKL of Elilario; Dauphin I-TTLL of HED; privately owned Bell 206B I-CHOP and Dauphin I-SINS; NH 500C GdiF-74 of the Guardia di Finanza; AB 412 CC-06 and CC-11, AB 206B CC-68 of the Carabinieri corps.
