Superjet International (SJI) - iniziativa congiunta Alenia Aeronautica-Sukhoi Holding – ha firmato oggi con la compagnia italiana Blue Panorama Airlines un accordo volto all’acquisto di 12 Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ-100). L’intesa - siglata al Salone Aeronautico di Parigi 2011 - avrà un valore stimato di circa 370 milioni di dollari.
Le consegne dei bireattori regionali SSJ-100-95B – con interni firmati Pininfarina - potranno iniziare alla fine del 2012. La flotta di Blue Panorama sarà anche supportata da SJI con specifici servizi di assistenza post-vendita.
Blue Panorama Airlines, fondata e presieduta da Franco Pecci, ha iniziato la propria attività nel 1998. La società, dotata di una flotta composta da quattro B.767-300 Extended Range, due B.757-200, quattro B.737-400 e due B.737-300, effettua voli domestici e collega l’Italia con le principali destinazioni turistiche del Mediterraneo, dell’Africa, dei Caraibi e del Sud-Est asiatico, con voli di linea e charter. Da lunga data, Blue Panorama Airlines è anche vettore di lancio europeo del Boeing 787 Dreamliner, con una prenotazione per quattro esemplari spinti da turbofan Rolls-Royce Trent 1000-A. Dal giugno 2004, Blue Panorama Airlines è attiva anche nel settore aerotaxi; i voli sono operati dalla divisione Executive Blue con una flotta oggi composta da tre biturboelica Piaggio P.180 Avanti. Nel novembre del 2005 sono anche iniziati i voli della blu-express.com, il marchio low-cost di Blue Panorama Airlines.
Il primo Sukhoi Superjet 100 di serie è entrato in servizio con l’aerolinea Armavia il 21 aprile 2011, immediatamente dopo la consegna del velivolo avvenuta il 19 aprile. Durante i primi due mesi di servizio, il SSJ-100 dell'Armavia ha totalizzato complessivamente 119 voli ed oltre 260 ore di volo. Il 16 giugno scorso, è anche entrato in servizio - sulla tratta Mosca-San Pietroburgo - il primo esemplare consegnato alla compagnia aerea russa Aeroflot.
Il 24 giugno, sempre nell'ambito del Salone di Parigi, Superjet International ha anche confermato un accordo “SuperCare” con il cliente di lancio Armavia che prevede l’assistenza post-vendita dei due SSJ-100 ordinati dalla compagnia. SJI fornirà al vettore nazionale armeno - che ha opzioni per altri tre Superjet - le parti di ricambio via via necessarie, oltre alla manutenzione o riparazione degli equipaggiamenti di bordo, per i prossimi sei anni. Questo contratto di assistenza “SuperCare” - dal valore di circa 4 milioni di dollari - è articolato in base alle ore di volo ed assicura la massima disponibilità dei velivoli con un minimo di costi fissi.

SuperJet International (SJI) - a joint-venture between Alenia Aeronautica and Sukhoi Holding – signed an agreement today with Blue Panorama Airlines of Italy for the purchase of 12 Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ-100) aircraft. Based on the list price, the agreement - sealed at the Paris Air Show 2011 - has an estimated value of USD 370 million.
The deliveries of these SSJ-100-95B aircraft will start at the end of 2012. The aircraft interiors will be provided by the Italian designer Pininfarina. The Blue Panorama SSJ-100 fleet will be also supported by SJI with tailored aftersales solutions beginning with the first delivery.
Blue Panorama Airlines, headed by founder Franco Pecci, started their activity in 1998. The company, which has a fleet composed by four Extended Range B.767-300s, two B.757-200s, four B.737-400s and two B.737-300s, operates a regular domestic network and international scheduled or charter flights to destinations in the Mediterranean area, Africa, Carribeans and South-East Asia. Blue Panorama Airlines is also long-standing European launch customer for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, with a requirement for four aircraft, powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 1000-A turbofans. Since June 2004, Executive Blue - a branch of Blue Panorama Airlines - started executive air services with a fleet now formed by three Piaggio P.180 Avanti twin-turboprop aircraft. In November 2005, blu-express.com - the low-cost brand of Blue Panorama Airlines – started their activity.
The first Sukhoi Superjet 100 entered into revenue services with Armavia on April 21, 2011. The aircraft was put into operation in an extremely short period of time, two days after the official delivery to the launch customer on April, 19 2011. During the first two months of operation, the Armavia's SSJ-100 totalized 119 flights and more than 268 hours. On June 16, 2011 the SSJ-100 entered into commercial operation with the Russian airline Aeroflot from Moscow to St. Petersburg.
Superjet International announced also, on June 24, the execution of a “SuperCare” agreement with the launch customer Armavia for after-sale support of their two SSJ-100 aircraft. SJI will provide the Armenian carrier - which has an option for three more Superjets - with customized spare parts availability and maintenance/repair solutions of on-board equipments for the next six years. This “SuperCare” agreement - worth about 4 million USD - is a comprehensive “per-flight-hour” programme developed by SJI to improve aircraft availability and reduce maintenance costs.
