Il Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SN 95004) ha superato con successo le prove a terra HIRF che si sono svolte di recente in Italia. Questo ciclo di controlli si è svolto allo stabilimento di Caselle Sud dell’Alenia Aeronautica. I risutati preliminari dimostrano che l’aereo è conforme a tutti i requisiti certificativi HIRF (High Intensity Radiated Field Tests).
Il nuovo jet regionale SSJ-100 è il primo velivolo russo ad essere sottoposto ad un programma di certificazione HIRF. La sua metodologia è stata elaborata da un gruppo di tecnici della SCAC (Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company) in collaborazione con Alenia Aeronautica e con la supervisione dell’ente dell’aviazione civile russo AR IAC (Interstate Aviation Committee Aviation Register) e dell’EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency).
La certificazione HIRF è necessaria per verificare che le apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche non subiscano interferenze rilevanti da campi elettromagnetici esterni come quelli creati da emissioni radio, TV o radar. Durante le prove sono state utilizzate le seguenti modalità: impulsi elettrici a bassa quota, impulsi radio a bassa quota, esposizione elettrica ad alto voltaggio, campi elettromagnetici ad alta intensità.
I rappresentanti dell’AR IAC e di altri centri di certificazione hanno preso parte alla maggior parte delle prove HIRF. Questa attività in comune migliora l’armonizzazione degli standard certificativi russi con quelli dell’EASA e, di conseguenza, le prospettive commerciali dei prodotti dell’industria aeronautica russa sul mercato internazionale.

The Sukhoi Superjet 100 SN 95004 has successfully completed HIRF ground testing programme in Italy. Tests were recently accomplished in Turin/Caselle airport, at the Alenia Aeronautica facilities. The preliminary results show that the aircraft meets all certification requirements regarding HIRF (High Intensity Radiated Field Tests).
The new SSJ-100 regional jet is the first Russian aircraft to accomplish the full scope of the certification HIRF testing programme. Its methodology was elaborated by the SCAC (Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company) engineering team in collaboration with Alenia Aeronautica, with further approval of the Interstate Aviation Committee Aviation Register (AR IAC) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
The HIRF certification is required to demonstrate that the aircraft’s electric and electronic equipment is not influenced by external electromagnetic fields like those produced by a TV or radio station or by a radar. The following methods were used to conduct testing: Low Level Swept Current, Low Level Swept Frequency, Bulk Current Injection and High Intensity Radiated Field.
The representatives of AR IAC and key certification centres took part in the most important stages of the tests. This joint effort will definitely contribute to harmonization of certification standards of Russia and Europe, as well as the successful entrance of future Russian product into the international market.
