Alenia Aeronautica, società Finmeccanica, e Sukhoi Company hanno presentato oggi il primo prototipo del jet regionale di nuova generazione Superjet 100, presso lo stabilimento russo di Komsomolsk-on-Amur. Si tratta del più moderno ed ecologico velivolo da trasporto regionale da 95 posti disponibile oggi sul mercato.
Il Superjet 100 rappresenta il maggior programma di collaborazione tra Russia e Europa nel campo dell’alta tecnologia ed ha come protagonista Alenia Aeronautica, società Finmeccanica che possiede il 25% più 1 azione di SCAC (Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company), società responsabile della progettazione, produzione, marketing e certificazione del velivolo.
Alenia Aeronautica e Sukhoi Company hanno inoltre recentemente costituito Superjet International, la nuova joint venture responsabile del marketing e vendite sui mercati occidentali della famiglia di jet regionali Superjet 100 e del supporto post vendita dell’aereo in tutto il mondo. Controllata al 51% da Alenia Aeronautica e al 49% da Sukhoi Company, Superjet International è anche responsabile della progettazione e sviluppo delle versioni VIP e cargo del velivolo.
Attualmente sono in corso i test statici del velivolo presso lo TsAGI, l’Istituto Centrale di Aero-Idrodinamica russo. Nei prossimi due mesi il velivolo presentato oggi sarà pronto per i test di volo: il Superjet 100 decollerà per la prima volta entro la fine del 2007 e la prima consegna ad Aeroflot, cliente di lancio del programma, avverrà a novembre 2008. Ad oggi il Superjet 100 ha totalizzato 73 ordini e si prevede di raggiungere i 100 entro fine anno.

Alenia Aeronautica, a Finmeccanica company, and Sukhoi Company today introduced the first prototype of the new generation regional jet Superjet 100, at the Russian plant at Komsomolsk-on-Amur. This is the most modern and ecological regional 95-seat jet available today on the market.
The Superjet 100 represents the largest collaborative programme between Russia and Europe in the field of high technology, with a leading role played by Alenia Aeronautica, a Finmeccanica company which holds 25% plus 1 share in SCAC (Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company), the company responsible for the aircraft’s design, production, marketing and certification.
Alenia Aeronautica and Sukhoi Company have also recently set up Superjet International, the new joint-venture responsible for marketing and sales of the Superjet 100 regional jets family on western markets and for worldwide after sales support for the aircraft. Controlled 51% by Alenia Aeronautica and 49% by Sukhoi Company, Superjet International is also responsible for the design and development of the aircraft’s VIP and cargo versions.
Static tests are presently underway on the aircraft at TsAGI, the Russian Central Institute of Aero-Hydrodynamics. In the next two months the aircraft presented today shall be ready for test flights: the Superjet 100 shall take off for the first time by the end of 2007 and the first delivery to Aeroflot, the programme’s launch customer, will take place in November 2008. Today Superjet 100 has a total of 73 orders and it is expected the orderbook will total 100 by the end of the year.
