Per la prima volta easyJet, la più grande compagnia aerea low-cost del Regno Unito, e presto anche d'Europa, ritirerà dal costruttore tre nuovi B.737 nell'arco di un mese. La Boeing li consegnerà nell'arco di soli 12 giorni.
EasyJet ha una flotta tutta formata da B.737 ed un tasso di crescita del 40% all'anno. Il vettore ha annunciato di recente che è in corso l'acquisizione di due altre compagnie aeree: la britannica Go Fly e la tedesca Deutsche BA.

For the first time ever, easyJet, the largest low-cost airline in the United Kingdom and soon to be the largest in Europe, is collecting three new Boeing Next-Generation B.737 jetliners in one month. Boeing is delivering the three airplanes, shown here together at Boeing Field in Seattle, to easyJet over a 12-day period in June.
The airline, which has only B.737s in its fleet and has been growing at about 40 percent a year, recently announced plans to expand further -- with the acquisition of two airlines -- Go Fly and Deutsche BA.
