The prototype of the Vulcanair VF600w Mission is almost ready for its maiden flight. The new single turboprop utility aircraft, designed and manufactured by the Italian company based in Naples, has an high-wing and fixed landing gears. The aircraft can carry 11 passengers, including the pilot, or 3,000 pounds of cargo on an average leg of 400 nm, and has a range of 1,100 nm with full fuel at 185 knots cruise speed. The aircraft is able to operate from short/rough runways and is aimed for the short-range light transport market.
