Cessna Aircraft Company ha annunciato oggi che è uscito dall’officina di montaggio di Independence, in Kansas, il 300° Citation Mustang. Il primo esemplare di serie aveva effettuato il suo roll-out meno di tre anni fa, nel 2007. Il 300° Mustang sarà presto consegnato ad un cliente australiano.
Il Citation Mustang è stato il primo jet d’affari “entry-level” completamente certificato. Il più piccolo della gamma Citation era stato annuciato alla Convention della National Business Aviation Association del 2002 ed aveva volato la prima volta nell’aprile 2005.
Il primo Citation Mustang è stato consegnato nell’aprile 2007 e da allora il successo è stato costante nel settore aerotaxi e charter, degli aerei aziendali, delle scuole volo e tra la clientela privata.

Cessna Aircraft Company announced today the roll-out of the 300th Citation Mustang at its assembly facility in Independence, Kansas, less than three years after the first Mustang delivery in 2007. The 300th Mustang will be delivered later this year to a retail customer in Australia.
The Citation Mustang is the world's first fully certified entry-level business jet. It was announced at the 2002 National Business Aviation Association convention and made its first flight in April 2005.
The first Citation Mustang was delivered in April 2007. It has found success in air taxi and charter operations, in flight departments, in training organizations as well as with owner-operators.
