First Boeing B.787-10 Dreamliner lands at Turin/Caselle airport

During the late afternoon of August 21, 2025, two commercial flights were diverted from Malpensa to Turin due to bad weather. Thus, for the first time, a Boeing B.787-10, the latest and most capacious version of the Dreamliner, landed at Turin/Caselle airport. The B.787-10 made its first flight on May 31, 2017 and can carry up to 440 passengers. The initial version of the B.787, the -8, is 56,72 meters in length and can take a maximum of 381 passengers; the second version, the B.787-9, is 68.81 metres in length and can accommodate up to 420 passengers. Dreamliners are a very rare sight at Turin/Caselle airport.
