Eur-Avia Cannes 2010 Air Show Preview

Eur-Avia Cannes is confirming itself as the Southern Europe’s leading exhibition in general and business aviation. To accommodate the increase in registrations for the 2010 edition - which will run June 4-6 – Hall 4 will be added to the indoor display area.
Eur-Avia Cannes and AOPA France (the French Chapter of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association) will renew their collaboration for the 4th edition of the air show. The nearly 23,000 AOPA members in Europe will be welcome at the stand of the association. Beginning in April, AOPA members will be able to order free tickets (35€ value each) directly from their website, www.aopa.fr. AOPA France was a partner of the 2009 edition of Eur-Avia; in fact they held their annual meeting there, during the show.
At Eur-Avia 2009, some 100 aircraft were exhibited, ranging from the luxurious Embraer Legacy business jet to the diminutive Enfissi EJM-002 amateur gyroplane. The static display area included also the sinuous Farnborough Aircraft F1C3 Kestrel composite, single-turboprop business aircraft, at its first public appearance in Continental Europe.
Daher-SOCATA, the French aircraft manufacturer, usual exhibitor at the tradeshow, will strengthen its presence in 2010 marking this new edition by sponsoring the event. Like all the major General Aviation manufacturers, such as Cessna, Hawker Beechcraft, Embraer, Cirrus, Diamond, Tecnam and Pilatus, which will display their current products, this year the French company will exhibit the popular TBM 850 turboprop aircraft and the TB 20 Trinidad retrofitted with Garmin G500 avionics.
