New version of the "Fox" sailplane in Italy
On 16 March a new aerobatic two-seater sailplane MDM-1 "Fox" (picture), owned by Turin Flying Club members Daniele Arnaldi, Claudio Brasaola and Raffaele Gilli, has arrived at the Turin-Aeritalia airfield.
It differs from the basic "Fox" by the introduction of the automatic flight controls connections and by new fore wheel brakes.
MDM was established in 1993 by Margansky, the late Dunowsky and Jerzy Makula. The latter, using the "Fox", was the winner of the 1993 5th World Aerobatic Championships at Venlo (Finland) and of the 1994 2nd European Championships at Rieti (Italy).
