EasyJet, una delle maggiori compagnie aerea europee a basso costo, annuncia un’ulteriore crescita nel mercato italiano, lanciando due nuove rotte che collegheranno gli scali di Torino e Pisa a Orly, il secondo aeroporto di Parigi, a soli 14 Km dal centro della città.
I due nuovi servizi saranno operativi a partire dal 30 marzo 2005, aggiungendosi agli attuali voli giornalieri easyJet dall’Italia per Parigi, in partenza dagli scali di Milano/Linate e Napoli.

Lo scorso week-end ha preso il via all’aeroporto di Torino/Caselle la stagione dei voli charter invernali che, sino al mese di aprile, trasporteranno decine di migliaia di sciatori europei sulle piste delle montagne piemontesi, valdostane e francesi.
La novità di questo inizio stagione è costituita dal nuovo collegamento settimanale da Varsavia per gli sciatori polacchi, operato dalla Wizzair a partire dal 27 novembre scorso. Nella stagione 2003/2004 i turisti della neve in arrivo e partenza sullo scalo di Torino/Caselle sono stati 173.360 con una crescita dell’11% rispetto all’anno precedente.
Ecco di seguito l’elenco delle destinazioni principali servite dai voli charter di Torino nella stagione 2004/2005: Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, Copenaghen, Dublino, East Midlands, Glasgow, Göteborg, Londra, Malmö, Manchester, Mosca, Newcastle, Oslo, Stoccolma, Tel Aviv, Varsavia. Anche quest’anno, agli ormai tradizionali charter neve, si sono aggiunti i charter originati da Torino per le mete turistiche balneari come Sharm El Sheikh, Monastir e Djerba.

Il signor Angelo Rosato, ventottenne, è il tremilionesimo passeggero 2004 all’aeroporto di Torino/Caselle. Grazie a un fortunato viaggio a Londra con la compagnia Ryanair, il signor Rosato ha permesso allo scalo torinese di raggiungere per la prima volta questo traguardo, che va ad aggiungersi agli altri due primati conquistati dall’aeroporto di Torino nel 2004: il record giornaliero di passeggeri (17.920 registrati il 4 gennaio) ed il primato mensile (285.441 passeggeri a marzo).

L’ENAC, ente nazionale per l’aviazione civile, ha rilasciato a SAGAT, la società di gestione dell’aeroporto di Torino/Caselle, il certificato che attesta la conformità dello scalo ai requisiti del regolamento per la costruzione e l’esercizio degli aeroporti, emanato da ENAC il 21 ottobre 2003. Questa certificazione attesta che l’azienda, i mezzi, il personale, le procedure e gli altri elementi necessari per la corretta gestione e per garantire la sicurezza dell’aeroporto sono idonei alla piena operatività.

EasyJet, one of the major European low-cost carrier, announced a further move in the Italian market, with the launch of two new flights connecting Turin and Pisa to Orly, the second airport of the Paris area, 14 km far from the French capital city.
The two new services will be inaugurated on March 30, 2005, and will join the existing easyJet connections from Italy to Paris from Milan/Linate and Naples.

The traditional winter charter season, at the Turin/Caselle airport, started during the past week-end. This true “air bridge” will last till April, 2005, and will be used by thousands of skiers, from all over Europe, heading to famous mountain resorts in Northern Italy and nearby France.
The current winter season activity was inaugurated, on November 27, by an all-new weekly flight from Warsaw, operated by the new Polish carrier Wizzair. During the 2003/2004 season, leisure passengers arriving or departing from the Turin/Caselle airport numbered 173,360 with an 11% increase compared to the previous winter period.
The list of the main destinations for the Turin winter charter flights of the 2004/2005 season includes Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, Copenaghen, Dublin, East Midlands, Glasgow, Göteborg, London, Malmö, Manchester, Moscow, Newcastle, Oslo, Stockholm, Tel Aviv, Warsaw. In the same period, outbound charter flights from Turin will include vacation destinations such as Sharm El Sheikh, Monastir and Djerba.

Mr. Angelo Rosato, 29 year old, is the 3,000,000th passenger of the Turin/Caselle airport in 2004. Mr. Rosato, holder of the lucky air ticket (a Ryanair flight to London), delivered this significant target to the Turin airport. The new record follows two other recent accomplishments: the record passenger in a single day (17,920 on January 4, 2004) and the record month (285,441 passengers in March).

ENAC (Ente Nazionale per l’Aviazione Civile), the Italian Civil Aviation Authority, awarded SAGAT, the Turin/Caselle airport management agency, the certificate of conformity regarding its specific operational duties, under the terms of the new airport rules issued by ENAC on October 21, 2003. The certification confirms SAGAT is able to satisfy all the current requirements concerning the organization, means and procedures to run, in a full-security way, the Turin airport operations.
