Si è conclusa domenica 17 aprile la stagione dei charter invernali 2004/2005. A partire dall’ultimo week-end del novembre scorso e per 21 fine settimana consecutivi, l’aeroporto di Torino/Caselle ha registrato un flusso di quasi 180 mila passeggeri (179.818), record storico per il traffico dei “charter della neve” allo scalo torinese. Rispetto alla scorsa stagione, il numero degli sciatori stranieri che hanno scelto le montagne del Piemonte e della Valle d’Aosta per le loro vacanze invernali ha registrato un incremento di circa il 4%.
Le principali destinazioni servite dai voli charter in arrivo e partenza dall’aeroporto di Torino/Caselle dal 27 novembre 2004 al 17 aprile 2005 sono state: Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, Copenaghen, Dublino, East Midlands, Glasgow, Göteborg, Londra, Malmö, Manchester, Mosca, Newcastle, Oslo, Stoccolma, Tel Aviv e Varsavia.
Le compagnie aeree che hanno preso parte alla stagione dei charter invernali 2004/2005 a Torino sono state Norwegian, British Airways, Wizzair, Britannia Airways (Gruppo TUI), My Travel Airways, First Choice, European Aircharter, Thomas Cook, FlyBe, Monarch Airlines e l’israeliana Sun d’Or International Airlines. Nello stesso periodo, sono proseguiti i charter originati da Torino per mete turistiche balneari come Sharm El Sheikh, Monastir e Djerba.

The winter charter season for the Turin/Caselle airport ended on April 17, 2005. From the last week-end of November 2004, and including all the 21 following week-ends, the Turin/Caselle airport registered the transit of 179,818 leisure passengers, with a +4% passenger increase compared to the previous skiing season. Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, Copenaghen, Dublin, East Midlands, Glasgow, Göteborg, London, Malmö, Manchester, Mosow, Newcastle, Oslo, Stockholm, Tel Aviv and Warsaw were the main departure airports of the charter flights calling at the Turin airport from November 27, 2004, to April 17, 2005. The air carriers mainly engaged in the Turin 2004/2005 winter charter season were Norwegian, British Airways, Wizzair, Britannia Airways (TUI Group), My Travel Airways, First Choice, European Aircharter, Thomas Cook, FlyBe, Monarch Airlines and Sun d’Or International Airlines of Israel. In the same period, outbound charter flights from Turin continued to vacation destinations such as Sharm El Sheikh, Monastir and Djerba.
